One of the most pressing needs facing the churches in the Spanish-speaking world is for leadership formation. The United Evangelical Theological Seminary (SEUT), Madrid, Spain meets this need by offering:
- An on-site, residential programme for full-time students .
- A part-time extension programme for students who are also otherwise employed.
- Refresher courses for those who wish to update their skills in order to better serve their churches.
- Training for Christian professionals who want to work out how to relate their faith to everyday life.
With its campus in El Escorial SEUT is able to carry out its mission to provide integral formation for believers, so that they may more faithfully serve the Church of Christ. The above drawing shows architect's ideas for the future development of our campus.

La Chimenea, "The Chimney," is a 16th Century building. Our mid-term project is to renovate it for use as chapel. |

| —"EL CASTILLO"--DIRECTOR'S RESIDENCE |
|
The most famous building on the property is El Castillo, "The Castle," also built in the 16th Century. It is said King Philip II lived here for a time while the imposing El Escorial Monastery was being built. |

All of these historic buildings are built around a large garden, which provides space for reflection, prayer, relaxation and peaceful conversation. |
