Degree Programme by Extension

This programme is structured according to the European Union Bologna Declaration. It comprises three areas—Bible, Doctrine and Church History, Mission and Ministry—and three levels (Foundational, Intermediate and Superior).

The programme leads to a Bachelor in Theology degree (180 European credits).

AREAS OF STUDY
Our programme of studies covers the following areas:

Bible
Study of the Bible's historical and literary context, and the application of the biblical message to today's world.

Doctrine and Church History
Study of how the formulation of the Church's faith has developed during the two millennia of its existence. In other words, the study of theology is based on an understanding of Church history.

Mission and Ministry
Study of the ways of engaging in mission and ministry. Particular attention is given to the lessons for today from mission practice in the past.

In each one of the areas there are a number of modules which cover different subjects.

Foundational Level - 60 credits
